The Paddle Bro’s LTD - TERMS & CONDITIONS.


Arrivals:
All participants and/or groups must arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before their hire start time. 
All participants and/or groups must listen to The Paddle Bro’s safety talk before commencing any paddling session. 
If any participant and/or group are late upon arrival they are still required to listen to the safety talk. This may take up to 10 minutes. 
Upon arrival all participants and/or groups must present themselves in appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity they wish to undertake. Strictly (but not limited to) no flip flops, sliders or sandals are to be worn on any of The Paddle Bro’s LTD stand-up paddle boards. Sensible footwear must be worn i.e., trainers or wetsuit shoes. Please note we do not supply wet suits or footwear for your paddling experiences. All participants are recommended to wear a wet/dry suit when they take part any session.
 
The Paddle Bro’s LTD, does not assume any accountability whatsoever for any loss or any damage to all property and belongings. 
Late Arrivals: 
All participants should acknowledge that they must arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before their hire start time. 
All participants should understand that they must listen to The Paddle Bro’s LTD safety talk before commencing their paddling session. 
As a participant making a single and/or group booking, you should understand that if you are late you will still be required to listen to the safety talk which may take up to 10 mins and will not be deducted from your hire session.
 
All participants and/or groups should also acknowledge and accept that if they arrive more than 20 minutes late for their booking it may be cancelled and no refund will be given to them or any of the group. If participants and/or groups arrive late and The Paddle Bro’s LTD decide to allow the session to proceed, the session will not be extended past the original session end time.
  
Failure to attend:
All Participants and or/groups that fail to attend any session will not be given any refund.
 
Medical and health requirements:
All participants must be physically fit and able, in order to book and take part in any stand-up paddle boarding activities with The Paddle Bro’s LTD.
All participants are required to inform The Paddle Bro’s LTD of any medical conditions or injuries that may impact their ability to paddle safely, a minimum of 48 hours before their arrival time.
 
All participants and or/groups are to understand that if they make a booking with less than 48 hours between the booking and arrival time, they must notify The Paddle Bro’s LTD immediately or as soon as practicable possible. Failure to do so may lead to the session being terminated without refund.
 
All participants should understand that if they are required to carry any type of medication on their person for themselves or their child/children (if applicable) they do so at their own risk and will not hold The Paddle Bro’s LTD liable for any loss of or damage to the medication as a result of their doing so.
 
If any participants are unsure in any way whatsoever about their health condition or medication preventing them taking part in a paddling session then they should consult with their GP or a qualified medical practitioner before commencing with any booking.
 
All participants suffering with medical conditions such as (but not limited to) epilepsy, asthma, seizures or diabetes must be able to produce a medical note from their GP or a qualified medical practitioner advising The Paddle Bro’s LTD that they are physically fit and able to take part in their paddling sessions.   
 
The Paddle Bro’s LTD reserves the right to refuse any/all bookings if the participant’s medical conditions are considered to be unfavourable to the safety and smooth running of the hire/instructed session.
 
Allergen information:
PLEASE NOTE: Any participants that have any FOOD ALLERGIES MUST contact Dough & Oil by phone on 01743 384261 before your session to enquire about the allergen information they provide. When contacting Dough & Oil regarding allergen information, please state your name, booking date and session time. The Paddle Bro's LTD do not accept any liability for any food or drink or allergen information provided by Dough & Oil or your failure to contact them. It is Dough & Oil's sole responsibility to provide it’s customers with this information. The Paddle Bro's LTD are not able to guarantee the food safety for delivered food as the third-party delivery company (Dough & Oil) are responsible for delivering all food and drink in a timely manner and will endeavour to do so in order to keep your food fresh and safe.

Drugs & Alcohol / Behaviour:
All participants must understand that if they are deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol by The Paddle Bro’s LTD at their time of hire then the session will either not be allowed to commence, or ended with immediate effect, and no refund will be given to the participant or any group members.
 
All participants should understand that whilst they are on the canal they will be respectful at all times and bear consideration of all other canal and waterway users.
 
All participants should understand that they must yield to oncoming boats - powered or non-powered.
 
All participants should understand that at all times, unless otherwise appropriate or safe to do so, must remain on the RIGHT-HAND side (Starboard side) of the canal or waterway.
 
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THIS SPECIAL NOTICE:
 
All participants should accept and fully understand that, at no point whatsoever during their hire with The Paddle Bro’s LTD, are they, or any of their group members, ever to approach or attempt to use or enter any LOCKS OR QUAYS in any way whatsoever and will always stay a minimum distance of fifty metres (50M) or more away from these hazards.
 
All participants should agree that they must never use or enter a LOCK OR QUAY and could be seriously injured or killed if they choose to do so.
 
All participants should understand that if they, or any of their group, are seen or reported to be using or entering either a LOCK or QUAY then their hire will be ended with immediate effect and no refund will be given, regardless of how far they or their group members are into the session time.
 
All participants should fully understand that if they ignore this warning and choose to do so of their own free will, any injury or loss to life to themselves, their group, or any others involved will be as a direct result of their own failure to comply with the above SPECIAL NOTICE and The Paddle Bro’s LTD will not be held liable.
 
Assumption of Risk: 
All participants should fully understand and accept that there are unavoidable risks and hazards involved during water-sports on rivers, canals, lakes and waterways and that they freely choose to take part in stand-up paddle boarding and the hiring of equipment of their own free will, regardless of these risks and they hereby accept all risk of personal injury or loss of life to themselves and their group and the loss of or damage to property in connection from the hiring of equipment or the taking part in stand-up paddle boarding activities.
 
 
All participants should fully understand and accept that by hiring any equipment from The Paddle Bro’s LTD and taking part in any activity on or around any body of water exposes them to a wide range of potential hazards and risks and such activities involve the inherent risk of personal injury; including but not restricted to severe head or spinal injuries, loss of or damage to property.
 
All participants should fully acknowledge all the risks associated with water-sports and assume full and total responsibility for all such injuries or damages that may result in connection to the use of all equipment hired to them or their group by The Paddle Bro’s LTD.
 
All participants are to conform with the safety guidelines and instructions set out by The Paddle Bro’s LTD at all times.
 
To manage the above risks, The Paddle Bro’s LTD;
 - Carry out detailed and thorough risk assessments of hazards on site which are frequently reviewed.   
​ - Continuously check and mange paddling equipment for damages or faults and only provide equipment that meets regulation standards.
 -  The Paddle Bro’s LTD is covered by Public Liability Insurance. Details of which will be provided at your request. We strongly recommend for our customers to organise their own personal insurance to cover cancellation, personal injury or death.

Age limits and restrictions:
Anyone wishing to make a booking with The Paddle Bro’s LTD must be over the age 18+. Children must be a minimum of 11 years old, be able to swim a minimum distance of fifty metres (50M) and must be accompanied by a full paying and participating parent or legal guardian.
All participants must understand and accept that if they choose to take their child who is below the age of 18 years old onto the water or engage in any activity including the hire of equipment, they do so at their own risk and take full responsibility for the safety of their child/children.
All participants are at no point whatsoever are to exceed The Paddle Bro’s LTD CHILD TO ADULT MAXIMUM RATIO OF (2:1). TWO CHILDREN, TO ONE ADULT. All participants should bear this in mind before booking as no refund will be given if you fail to comply to this statement.
 
All participants accept that if they choose to take any child onto the water, they must be either the child’s parent or legal guardian. Participants understand that unless they are the parent or legal guardian of said child they are not to book any session whatsoever other than for themselves or for adults aged 18 years old or over.
 
Personal Property and belongings:
All participants should fully acknowledge and accept that The Paddle Bro’s LTD does not assume any accountability whatsoever for any loss or any damage to any property or belongings whatsoever.
 
All participants should also acknowledge and accept that The Paddle Bro’s LTD will not assume any accountability in any way whatsoever for any belongings left in cars or vehicles and that all participants do so at their own risk.
All participants should accept that if they freely choose to take any of their own belongings or property onto, or near any section or body of water, that they understand and accept the inherent risks of doing so.
 
All participants should accept that they will not be compensated by The Paddle Bro’s LTD in any way if they lose or damage any of their property.
 
All participants should fully understand that at no point whatsoever during their hire are they to try to or attach any stand-up paddle board to any other vessel including (but not limited to) non-motorised boats, motorised boats, barges, speed boats, kayaks or canoes and that If they ignore this warning then their hire will be ended with immediate effect and no refund will be given regardless of how far they are into their session.
 
All Payments and Fees:
All participants should agree to pay in full the total amount requested at the time of booking.
 
All participants should agree to make payment to The Paddle Bro’s LTD for any ADD ON’S (ADULT PIZZA etc…) to their booking using their original booking details and payment method and give the Paddle Bro’s LTD permission to do so.

All participants should understand any failure to make full payment before the time and date of the booking will result in their hire session being cancelled with no refund given to them or any group members. 
  
All participants should accept and agree to pay the total amount of fees liable to them as the result of failure to comply with all the above statements including (but not limited to) late return fees and replacement of lost, stolen or damaged equipment whilst in their care.
 
All participants should agree that once a booking has been made, it cannot be altered by them or any of their group members.
 
The Paddle Bro’s LTD Gift Vouchers:
A Paddle Bro’s LTD gift card is valid for 12 months from the original purchase date. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for their monetary value or extended.
 
 
Cancellation Policy and making changes to Your booking:
 
The Paddle Bro's LTD require a minimum of 48hrs notice if any participants and/or group need to cancel for any reason. In the event any participant and/or group makes a cancellation +48 hours prior to the session start time, then The Paddle Bro’s LTD will refund the participant and/or group for the charge of hire, but The Paddle Bro’s LTD will not be accountable for any other charges or expenses incurred. Any cancellation notice given less than 48hrs by the participants and/or group hire session will result in NO refund being issued to the participant and/or group. In the event that The Paddle Bro's LTD have to cancel your booking for any reason, a refund will be given for the charge of hire, but The Paddle Bro’s LTD will not be accountable for any other charges or expenses incurred. 
 
Complaints Procedure:
