Meet the Bro's
Tim & Chris Harris
How it all began.
As young children we fell completely and utterly in love with the natural environment. Whilst growing up our family would often go on camping trips in and around Shropshire. We believe this to be one of the main reasons why our love for the outdoors grew exponentially as children. Our parents have always been advocates for preserving the natural environment. They always taught us that nature is for everyone to enjoy. “Leave no trace” was a phrase our parents would use frequently, explaining that the best way to preserve the outdoors is to leave it how you found it, thus preserving the natural environment in it's natural state for future generations to enjoy. This resonated with us as children, not just as a phrase we would use but as a way of life for us both.
In our most recent education, we both undertook a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Outdoor Education and Environmental studies. As well as developing a deeper understanding of the complexity of how habitats and ecosystems are structured, we also developed our paddling abilities and skills on a variety of vessels; canoes, kayaks, paddleboards.
The course allowed us to combine our love for outdoor recreation with our passion for the preservation of the natural world for future generations. We are extremely passionate about what we do and put nothing less than 100% into everything. Our sheer determination and can-do attitude have always seen us accomplish any task put to us. We are compassionate, hardworking, resilient and have more zeal for the outdoors than you could ever imagine. Our love for engaging people has allowed us to positively influence outdoor recreationists across the world in order to preserve our magnificent planet. We will continue with our efforts to preserve the natural world and promote outdoor recreation in whichever way we can.
After working for many years in the outdoor industry in a variety of roles, we both decided on running our very own paddle sports business for all from which we can provide exciting, personalised experiences that have numerous educational, health, fitness, and relaxation benefits.
